The Ditch Dating member safety
Tell us about a profile, message or experience that has made you feel uncomfortable or unsafe. You do not need to confront another member before making a report.
Go to the report formImmediate danger or crime
Call 999 if someone is in immediate danger or a crime is in progress. For a police matter that does not need an emergency response, call 101 or use the official online reporting service.
What you can tell us about
A concern does not have to fit neatly into one category. Give us the clearest account you can and include the member name or profile link when available.
Abusive messages, repeated unwanted contact, intimidation, stalking, discrimination or pressure after you have said no.
Photographs, age, identity, location or personal details that appear to be fake, stolen or deliberately misleading.
Requests for cash, gift cards, bank details, investments, cryptocurrency, travel costs or help with an invented emergency.
Unwanted sexual messages, pressure to share images, explicit profile content or intimate material shared without permission.
A person who may be under 18, someone who may be at risk, or behaviour that could place another member in danger.
Any conduct, profile detail or experience that concerns you, even if it is not covered by the examples above.
Before you submit
You do not need to investigate the member or prove what happened. Tell us what you saw or experienced in your own words. If it is safe, keep relevant messages and screenshots until the report has been reviewed.
What happens next
Reports are considered using the information available and the safety of members. The action taken will depend on the circumstances.
Your information is sent to the support team. An acknowledgement may be sent to the email address you provide.
The team may check the relevant account activity and may contact you if further information is needed.
This may include a warning, limits on an account, removal from the service or referral to an appropriate authority where necessary.
Privacy and fairness
Details from a report are used to understand the concern, protect members and meet legal or safety responsibilities. Information may need to be shared where required by law or where this is necessary to respond to a serious risk.
Reporting tells the support team about a concern. Blocking helps stop contact from that account. Use both options when appropriate, and do not continue a conversation that makes you feel unsafe.
Read the Privacy Policy or visit the Dating Safely guide.
Send your report
Complete the form below with as much information as you can. Do not include passwords, verification codes, full bank details or other security information.
If your concern involves suspected romance fraud, report it to Report Fraud as well. If money has already been sent, contact your bank immediately.
Tell us what has happened and provide enough information for the concern to be reviewed. You do not need to complete any field marked optional.
